What does concealer do?

Perfect for use with foundation, tinted moisturiser or powder, a concealer works to cancel out discolouration and darkness in any area of your face, giving you a more glowing complexion and skin tone. You can use a concealer on your under-eye area to conceal dark circles, blemishes, age spots and other dark spots.

Do you put concealer on before or after foundation?

Generally, concealer makeup is applied after moisturisers on dark spots and blemishes, followed by a layer of sheer or full coverage foundation. This is because concealer works as a colour corrector to give you a more even colour base over which foundation can be flawlessly applied. Always use a concealer one or two shades lighter than your natural skin tone for best results under eyes.

If it's dark circles under your eyes that you are concerned about, you may need to use an orange-based concealer to cancel out the blue tones. To apply, simply dot the concealer onto the areas you wish to cover and blend well with a brush or your fingers.
